Just hours after listening to The Never Ending for the first time (actually it started with Debby Ryan’s cover of Sweater Weather, which rocks by the way) a review of the debut EP ‘One’ was requested over twitter. I really like this EP, you get to hear the diversity of the band’s sound. This is a journey and has you captivated from beginning to end, each song connected by the beautiful voice of Debby Ryan.
Brad Heaton is an Ohio-based concert photographer who has taken photos of some amazing artists, like Hoodie Allen, Twenty One Pilots and Beartooth. The first picture I saw of his was one of Josh Dun from Twenty One Pilots playing on his drum island, it was an aerial shot that has stuck with me since I first saw it, since then I’ve been seeing more and more of his amazing shots. He kindly took the time to answer some questions about his favourite project, how he got into photography and advice on getting the most out of your photos.
Ahead of release at midnight, Pierce The Veil have released ‘Texas Is Forever’ on YouTube. The single is the latest from their new album, ‘Misadventures’ which is set for release on May 13th through Fearless Records.
Set It Off have dropped a smashing video for their latest single ‘Uncontainable’. The orchestral pop rock group released their sophomore album ‘Duality’ back in 2014 and new music has been highly anticipated, their signature cinematic sound is back and stronger than ever. I’m already in love with this song.
If you missed twenty one pilots on their recent UK tour then you’re in luck, they’ve announced three exclusive UK cinema showings of Blurryface Live. The tickets are free and released through an online lottery, so sign up now for a chance to win.
This debut album has been a long time coming, due to personal issues the initial release was set back, but now it’s here and the fans are going crazy. Electric Century sees ex-My Chemical Romance bassist Mikey Way joined by Sleep Station vocalist and New London Fire guitarist David Debiak.’For The Night To Control’ is everything I wanted from an Electric Century album – it’s one of those albums you can listen to over and over without getting bored.
Kenneth Harris doesn’t seem to stop, I caught up with him days before the birth of his first child, not long after finishing co-writes and just before a bunch of live shows with Panic! At The Disco as their touring guitarist. And in between all these other projects, Kenny somehow finds time for his own music having released his second album ‘Will U B Minor?’ late last year. We talked about the album, his inspiration and juggling all the projects he’s involved in.
Andy Black, who you may know as Andy Biersack from Black Veil Brides, has announced his debut UK tour to support his solo album this May. He will be joined by Creeper.
It’s no secret that I love Twenty One Pilots. But this show blew me away, last time I was surrounded by tall people and couldn’t see much, this time I was sat in the balcony with a perfect view and I don’t think life could ever get better. As usual the O2 Academy Birmingham was lovely, the staff were incredibly friendly and the security guards did a fantastic job of looking after the crowd.
