On the 29th of March, Canadian metal band Arrival of Autumn are set to release their second full-length album ‘Harbinger’. To tide us over for the next few days, they have gifted us with a lyric video to the single which is called ‘witness’.
For those fans that love a good head banger with deep screams and heavy guitar rifts, then this album is sure to bring you joy. The new single gives such a range of clean vocals and dark screaming that it is very easy to get stuck in your head for the rest of forever!
An aspect of the single that I absolutely love is the heavy snare drum that accompanies the drumming and complements the vocals. It gives such a steady sense of rhythm that I appreciate when it comes to this type of music. The lyric video also mirrors the message of the song nicely, which I think is quite rare with more modern lyric videos. If you would like to check out the lyric video, then just click below:
I know there are some music nerds that will appreciate that this album fulfills their debut with Nuclear Blast. It was also produced and mixed by
the amazing Jason Suecof, who is known for working with bands such as Devildriver, The Black, Dahlia Murder, All That Remains and Trivium. The album was then mastered by the talented Alan Douches who has worked with Darkest Hour, Every Time I Die and Suicide Silence. Just from the team working behind the scenes, I can already tell that this album is going to bring so much to the table.
If you’re a fan of bands such as The Amity Affliction and Issues, then I think this band will really float your boat. Make sure to check out their new album which is released on the 29th of March, as well as listening to some of their other stuff!
