K-Pop group, Pentagon, recently released their mini-album ‘Thumbs Up’. The album is their first performing as an 8-member group and sees them changing their direction slightly, with some tracks having a boy-band feel and others taking a lot of inspiration from hip-hop.
Twenty One Pilots played their comeback show at O2 Brixton, London. The hiatus did the boys good, with both Tyler and Josh looking healthy and happy and giving a brilliant performance. The show introduced fans to the new era, combining the best of their old live show with new and exciting pieces (fire, cars and new songs to name a few). ‘A Complete Diversion’ has got fans all over the world excited for the new album ‘Trench’ and the World Tour that comes alongside it.
Vinyl Theatre have returned with their album ‘Star Cruiser’, their first release since parting ways with label Fueled By Ramen. This album is a beautifully curated collection of songs from the heart. From the first track to the last, you are hooked by their individual sound and raw honesty. This album marks a change in the band that can’t quite be explained, other than to say that I believe their best days are before them.
Vinyl Theatre are set to release their latest album, ‘Starcruiser’, on August 31st. The album is the band’s third release and sees them exploring and evolving their sound. Their keyboardist, Chris Senner, took the time to answer some questions prior to its release.

With a sound similar to upcoming artists, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me and Vesperteen, it would not surprise me for this band to follow in their success. BTS never stop working and are back again with the first track from their upcoming album ‘Love Yourself 結: Answer’. The final part of their Love Yourself series, the song ‘Epiphany’ not only gives fans a taste of what is to come musically but lyrically too.

Ducking Punches, Death By Shotgun and Kill the Witness rocked The Wave Maiden. The intimate venue was filled with passionate fans and those who got drawn in by the music from downstairs alike. All of these people had something in common – by the end of the night we all loved the three bands that played. The night put together by Nerd Rage Bookings, gave us a range of the very best punk has to offer; from pop-punk to indie-punk all these bands gave us music that meant something
