Fronted by two French female vocalists, the multi-ethnic band performs heart touching ballads telling stories about everything, from love to heartbreak. Charly and Faust of Charly&Faust took the time to answer some questions about their fondest musical memory, the songs that mean the most to them and where they see themselves in five years.
PVRIS’s largest headliner to date at O2 Academy Brixton was insane. I haven’t been to this venue since Panic! At The Disco played here, but PVRIS really owned the stage. Being sat in the Circle meant that we had an amazing view of the entire stage and the energetic crowd below. There were theatrics, a killer light show, and just fabulous performances.
Jesse Rutherford, singer of The Neighbourhood, drops his debut major label solo album ‘&’ and it’s as beautifully odd as you would expect. Any fan of The Neighbourhood knows that their sound is eclectic and exciting; they explore and combine a range of genres creating an original and exciting sound. In this solo venture, Jesse demonstrates his own style bringing in sounds from pop, electronic and rap.
Don Broco‘s headline show was one I have been looking forward to since it’s announcement. Alexandra Palace is such an amazing venue to be at, especially when it’s packed front to back and side to side. Don Broco, alongside State Champs and Counterfeit, did exactly that and had every single person in that room singing and bouncing along. The last time I was there was exactly a year ago to see Twenty One Pilots, and this show had just as much energy.
Following a 2 year hiatus, Colton Avery has returned stronger than ever with his single ‘Religion‘. He took the time to talk to me about upcoming releases, live shows and his fans, despite technology working against us!
Electronic trio Chase Atlantic have just released their debut self-titled album and it is amazing. The three boys from Australia took the time to talk to me about what this album means to them, the hardest track to play and their fans.
Colton Avery captured the hearts of fans with his amazing voice whilst touring with The Script. Since this tour in 2015 fans have been waiting with baited breath for more original music and we finally have it. ‘Religion’ is a fantastic song to reignite your love for Colton Avery.
On October 7th, Like Moths to Flames released their new song ‘Dark Divine’ ahead of their album release November 3rd. The song demonstrates a new sound which really highlights the talent of the band. If you’re a fan of the scene then you have to give this song a listen.
Don Broco’s only UK show is fast approaching and the band are releasing more music to wet the appetite of those lucky fans with tickets. The single comes shortly after they announced their third album, ‘Technology‘, which will be released on January 26th, 2018. ‘Stay Ignorant’ follows this new and improved sound the band has been teasing with their previous two singles ‘Pretty’ and ‘Technology’.
