Pale People are a 3 piece rock/progressive punk band. A balding neurotic, a disabled music-school dropout, and a diabetic martial artist; this band combine vocals, piano, bass and percussion to create music with something important to say. We talked about Taco Bell, the origins of their band name and the motivation behind their music.
Tarah Who? is a three piece band that delivers raw, authentic and loud rock. The band consists of multi-instrumentalist Tarah G. Eric Gynan from Leaving Eden took the time to answer my questions. This rock band from the US have toured the USA, UK & Canada, sharing the stage with hundreds of the biggest national bands in the world including; Rob Zombie, 5 Finger DeathPunch and Marylyn Manson. I’ve been following this band closely since the release of their first single for this impressive album. This album has been on repeat since its release a few weeks ago. With this album, Imminence present a mature band, refining their rock sound and combining it with electronic sounds and folk undertones. ‘This Is Goodbye’ is my favourite album of this year so far, if you haven’t heard it then you’re missing out.
The beautiful ‘Haze’ is from the band’s second album, which is currently being recorded. Like all Amber Run songs it is haunting, beautiful and catchy and definitely bodes well for their new album.
Set It Off have dropped a smashing video for their latest single ‘Uncontainable’. The orchestral pop rock group released their sophomore album ‘Duality’ back in 2014 and new music has been highly anticipated, their signature cinematic sound is back and stronger than ever. I’m already in love with this song.
If you missed twenty one pilots on their recent UK tour then you’re in luck, they’ve announced three exclusive UK cinema showings of Blurryface Live. The tickets are free and released through an online lottery, so sign up now for a chance to win.
Kenneth Harris doesn’t seem to stop, I caught up with him days before the birth of his first child, not long after finishing co-writes and just before a bunch of live shows with Panic! At The Disco as their touring guitarist. And in between all these other projects, Kenny somehow finds time for his own music having released his second album ‘Will U B Minor?’ late last year. We talked about the album, his inspiration and juggling all the projects he’s involved in.
It took me about 10 seconds to fall in love with this 5-piece rock band. ‘Speak Softly’ jumps so quickly into the music that I nearly fell off my chair, but it grabbed my attention and kept it. The band are touring with Secrets, Palisades and Too Close To Touch later this month and took the time to answer some of my questions.
