Everywhere have announced their first 2017 release in the form of ‘Man Up’ following their successful sophomore EP ‘Fiction Act’. I’ve been excitedly waiting for new music and ‘Man Up’ did not disappoint. ‘Digital Druglord’ has been a highly anticipated album from the independent artist Blackbear. With his side project of mansionz releasing their first album, Blackbear has been pretty busy in the music industry recently and all the hard work has seemed to pay off. Although, a lot of the album is similar to previous songs of his, there is still an evolution in this album where you hear things a little different to what you might expect.
It has been a rumour for a while that twenty one pilots would feature as part of a major movie soundtrack – and here it is. Their new track ‘Heathens’ joins the likes of Panic! At The Disco, Eminem and Imagine Dragons on the Suicide Squad Soundtrack and they just dropped an amazing music video for the first single from the soundtrack.
Kenneth Harris doesn’t seem to stop, I caught up with him days before the birth of his first child, not long after finishing co-writes and just before a bunch of live shows with Panic! At The Disco as their touring guitarist. And in between all these other projects, Kenny somehow finds time for his own music having released his second album ‘Will U B Minor?’ late last year. There are quite a few brilliant artists coming from Nottingham right now (Amber Run instantly spring to mind) and Saint Raymond is no different; I have fallen in love.
